Each round must have exactly one winner (score of 0)
Players can score: Drop (20), Middle Drop (40), Full Count (80), or Win (0)
Players reaching Game Score (default 251) are considered "out"
Out players can rejoin with highest active player's score + 1
Game continues until only one player remains below Game Score

Basic Rummy Rules

Players: 2-6 players
Cards: Standard 52-card deck (Jokers optional)
Goal: Form valid combinations and be the first to discard all cards

Valid Combinations

Sets: Three or four cards of the same rank (e.g., 8♠ 8♣ 8♥)
Runs: Three or more consecutive cards of the same suit (e.g., 5♥ 6♥ 7♥)
Jokers can substitute for any card in sets or runs

Game Flow

Each player gets 13 cards
On your turn:
1. Draw one card (from deck or discard pile)
2. Form or modify combinations
3. Discard one card
First player to arrange all cards in valid combinations and discard wins

Scoring in Rummy

When using this app for Rummy scoring:

Winner gets 0 points (automatic in app)
Other players' points based on unmatched cards:
- Face cards (K, Q, J) = 40 points (Middle Drop)
- Ace = 80 points (Full Count)
- Number cards = 20 points (Drop Score)

Setup Your Rummy Game

Click "New Game" and name it (e.g., "Friday Rummy")
Configure scoring:
- Drop Score: 20 (for number cards)
- Middle Drop: 40 (for face cards)
- Full Count: 80 (for Aces)
- Game Score: 251 (standard end threshold)
Add all players (2-6 players)
Set a 4-digit passcode to secure your game

During Gameplay

After each round:
- Enter 0 for the winning player
- For other players, enter:
  - 20 points for remaining number cards
  - 40 points for remaining face cards
  - 80 points for remaining Aces
Click "Next Round" to proceed
Use "Stats" to track performance over multiple rounds

Players: Alice, Bob, Charlie, David

Round End Scenario:

Alice wins (enters 0)
Bob has K♠, Q♥ (enters 80)
Charlie has 5♣, 6♦ (enters 40)
David has A♠ (enters 80)

App automatically updates scores and shows Alice as round winner
